In keeping with my accidental beach theme this week, I thought I would move a bit north to Monterey. Located on the central coast of California, this waterfront city was made famous in author John Steinbeck’s novels, Cannery Row, Tortilla Flat and East of Eden, as well as his play, Of Mice and Men.
